Les amis qu’on se fait sur la route prennent la voie rapide; d’inconnus à “amis pour la vie” pied au plancher. 
Les amis qu’on se fait sur la route ont un bagage et des fourmis dans les jambes; des histoires à échanger contre les nôtres, des étoiles dans les yeux et au-dessus de la tête. 

Au gré des amitiés et des courants, on se sépare, on se rejoint, on se présente de futures envies. 
Au gré des galères et des nuits magiques, on se confie, on se comprend, on s’unit. 
Les amis qu’on se fait sur la route ne se retournent pas quand ils ont dit au-revoir. Ils savent que la voie que le destin déroule devant eux est belle, et qu’elle croisera à nouveau la vôtre si ce qui doit arriver arrive. 
On voit s’éloigner un sac à dos, un sourire, un chapeau d’aventurier et on sourit en repensant au chemin partagé. 

Amis de la route aujourd’hui en sommeil dans mes amis facebook, je vous retrouverai. 
Ma porte, pour autant que j’en ai une, vous sera toujours ouverte et, quand je rentrerai chez moi, je chérirai le souvenir des nuits ensoleillées que nous avons passées ensemble.

Through the storms and the magical nights, we open up, we understand each other, we bond.
The friends we make on the road don't look back when they say goodbye. They know that the path that destiny is unfolding for them is beautiful, and that it will cross yours again if what is to happen happens.
You wave away to a backpack, a smile, an adventurer's hat, and you smile as you think back to the shared path.

Friends of the road now dormant in my facebook friends, I will find you again.
My door, insofar as I have one, will always be open to you and, when I return home, I will cherish the memory of the sunlit nights we spent together.
